The professionals of Garden Design said that after an evergreen, semi-ee-green or leaf malfunction, which is low, is attractive leaves all year round, plenty of existing flowers and color, such as hydrangeas: “Viburnums are the answer”.
They said: “With all of this, it is not difficult for you to understand why you are one of the most popular garden bushes of all time.”
Viburnums bloom with two main types of flower heads: flat cluster, similar to lickecap hyso and rounded snowball types.
Their sometimes fragrant flowers bloom in white, cream -colored and pink shadows and are usually tubular or salver shape (long, thin tube, which suddenly increases to a flat flower) in shape.
Viburnums are also appreciated for their striking decorative fruits that lend color and interest in winter, and are an important source of food for birds. Fruits are usually round or egg -shaped and can be red, pink, purple, blue or black.
Garden experts on the outdoor guide agreed and said when they are looking for a plant that is as beautiful as a hydrangea, but a little easier to do, then “go for the viburnum”.
The expert said: “Viburnum, also known as a Chinese snowball or snowball viburnum, is a blooming bush or tree that looks almost identical with a white hydrangea unless it is easier to take care of.
“In fact, the snowball Viburnum can grow in the soil of any acid, droughter-resistant and in full sun can be rejected (you can also find varieties that prefer shadows).
“In addition, snowball viburnums grow larger flower balls than hydrangeas, can become twice as high and have a pleasantly fruity fragrance with a touch of vanilla.”
In conversation with houses and gardens, flower expert Stephany Kohley also recommended gardeners who build viburnums. She said: “If you are looking for a high -quality garden plant that is not too demanding, I recommend making a viburnum instead of hydrangeas.
“Hortensia are beautiful, but can be a high maintenance. I think more gardeners will tend towards viburnum.”
