Froman had 30 points before the foul and the rest of the Titans combined had 29.

The Titans made 8 of 14 shots (seven 2s and one 3) and scored 19 points in the first quarter. Rockridge made 6 of 11 3-point attempts en route to 26 points in the first frame. The Rockets scored the last eight points of the quarter and were able to pull away from a 15-15 tie.

The second quarter didn't go well for the Titans, although Knowles got a dunk to make the score 28-21. Siegfried scored a basket and a free throw in the second quarter for a total of five points for the Titans.

At halftime it was 39:24.

The 15-point halftime deficit was 20 points and was 50-33 at 17 after the third quarter.

Froman had a personal 8-0 run in the fourth quarter, scoring 13 of his total points as the Titans got within eight points and then started fouling. The Rockets made 7 of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter. Crowley hit a triple to make it a seven-point deficit in the finale, the Titans' closest since Knowles' dunk early in the second quarter.

Froman and Knowles were named to the all-tournament team. Both were asked what this honor meant to them. They both said, “Nothing.” They would trade it for a team win.

The Titans play Sherrard in the Carl Sandburg Shootout in Galesburg on Saturday.
