West Side Flower Fest 2025Organized under the patronage of Sector 6 Rathaus, converted an urban park into a spectacular representation of contemporary flower art. The topic of this year's edition, “Stories in Flowers”, brought together five Romanian floral designers who were asked to reinterpret famous literary works in large -scale flower installations.
The five artists were carefully selected by Aurora Blumen and Plants for their artistic vision, professional experience and ability to tell stories through flower language. In addition, Aurora started an open call for voluntary florists who offered as many specialists as possible as possible – a valuable step in their professional development and a refreshing break from the routine of daily flower business.
Five well -known Romanian floral designers and their stories in flowers
Andrei Bindea, Florentina Drăghici, Andreea Popa, Adina Dancianu and Dhaniel Nora were each supported logistically and creatively by Aurora Blumen and Plants, the main partner of the project. Cooperation with the artists included special advice, curated flower and plant selection as well as operational support throughout the implementation process.
“The passage – beyond the goal Narnia” by Andrei Bindea
Created by Andrei Bindea, founder of the brand Flowers with a WoW effectThis installation is an invitation to self -observation and escapism, inspired by the magical world of The chronicles of Narnia. A wooden gate that is adorned with hand -painted details and rich vegetation marks the symbolic limit between reality and imagination. Lush leaves – hydrangea, strelitzie, allium, roses, diathus and moss preserved – combines the immersive feeling of crossing it into another realm.

The piece embodies narrative sensitivity, color harmony and emotional depth. With over twenty years of experience in flower art, Andrei led a diverse team of technicians and florists to bring this vision to life. He was supported during the conceptualization and execution of Alexandra Antal by Florăria Mara (Brașov), the input of which was decisive for the artistic direction and technical solutions. The result became one of the most photographed installations of the festival, which was resonance among visitors as a re -connection with the miracles of childhood and the regeneration power of nature.
In other words:
“This creation was a creative reset – an escape from the studio routine. It reminded me of the pure emotional power of flower design.”

'Divine Comedy' by Florentina Drăghici
Florentina Drăghici visually translated Dante's masterpiece into a floral narrative of the journey of the soul through inferno, purgatory and paradise. Three floral arches represent existential threshold values that are combined by a central tree that causes vertical spiritual transformation. The color palette develops from dramatic, intense tones to the essential brightness and tells a story solely by flowers.

Florentina, a floral designer with projects in Romania and abroad since the early 2010s, had a team of artists: Ana Grigoraș, Raluca Aniței and Cristian Carapet, who each contributed to their unique specialist knowledge. The installation represented significant technical challenges in terms of construction and weather resilience, but led to a deeply emotional and coherent piece. Many visitors returned several times to experience it under different lighting conditions.
Florentina shared:
“It was an intensive journey – emotionally and transformative for me and my team. It is the type of project that redesigns it and connects them again with their passion.”
“The Little Prince” by Andreea Popa
Andrea Popa's work has redesigned Saint-Exupéry'sThe little prince by a poetic installation with a huge open book, from which roses, gypsophila and multi -colored cloves are created. A red rose under a glass dome, a floating ball with the statue of the prince, covered with moss covered planets and a flowering tree illustrate topics of amazement, love and friendship.

Interactive elements – considering quotes, floating symbols – affect the emotional effect. Andreea, engineer and economist, founder of the sister Flower Studio, brought together a mixed team of florists and volunteers to realize the piece. Their creative solutions ensured the structural balance and weather resistance. Visually effective and yet deep introspective, the piece invited a silent reflection.
Andreea said:
“For me, The little prince Is more than a story – it is a manifesto of simplicity and truth. This project gave me a new way to speak through flowers. “
“The violinist” by Adina Dancianu
Inspired by Harriet Constables Roman The Venice's violinistThe installation of Adina Dancianu focuses on a 4.2-meter flower gone that is formed in “musical colors”: purple for gravity, gold for uplifting notes, emerald green and light pink for soft harmonies.

The composition includes a vintage dress that consists exclusively of flowers, a stylized female silhouette, a suspended musical personnel and a symbolic flower landscape inspired by the channels in Venice. Adina and her team – Oana A. Murăraiture, Oana Dumitrache, Melania Turcu, Vladina Radu and Mihaela Vardianu – created a liquid and emotionally resonant piece. A live violin performance added a multisensory moment that moved the audience deeply.
Adina:
“This work felt like my soul set music, a total challenge that reminded me that flowers could sing.”
'Prosses' by Dhaniel's Down
Dhaniel Noras 'Taming Pegasus', one of the most striking works in 2025 edition, reinterpreted the myth of Pegasus and Bellerophon. A monumental sculpture of the winged horse, which was created especially for the festival, is balanced by Greek columns and a floral composition that balances strength and grace.

The installation, completely designed and built by the Purple flowers Team presents architectural precision and sensitivity to flower. Carefully selected flowers emphasize verticality, texture and dynamic energy. Dhaniel, known for his large -scale symbolic compositions, once again demonstrated the power of floristry as a universal artistic language.
Dhaniel Nora reflected:
“Participation in the West Side Flower Fest 2025 offered us a rare opportunity for creative confirmation and professional visibility. The real emotional reactions of visitors confirmed to us that Floristry can be living art.”
