Asid 'Summer Spruce Up' is back with design advice and an invitation to Tenant-San Diego Union-Tribune

Time to refresh a furniture in the main living space of your house or do you need to know what you can expect in a complete kitchen renovation? The Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designer in San Diego invites homeowners and tenants to experience stress -free advice with professional interior designers in their own houses.

During the “Summer Spruce Up” program of the chapter in July and August, consumers can plan a one -hour consultation with an ASID member for a donation of 115 US dollars on ASID. The donation supports the local chapter programs; The designer donates his time.

From July 1st to July 15th, customers can register online for a consultation. The consultations are then planned from July 26 to August 31.

“This is an excellent opportunity to get affordable design advice, regardless of whether you are planning a total renovation or have a special design challenge,” said Beverly Feldman, President of the San Diego chapter.

“Spruce Up has been popular with home owners for years, and this year we would like to extend the invitation to tenants,” said Feldman. “Rental rooms, whether they are lofts, apartments, houses or (accessory living units), often present design challenges to personalize careful planning and clever solutions based on size restrictions and the desire to personalize the space without personalizing, owning property.

“Our designers are also aware of many ingenious multifunctional furniture solutions that have twice the duty.”

Feldman noticed that the designer can help with any design question. Examples are the placement and design of the furniture, the color selection, the window treatments, the aging solutions, media rooms, remodels for kitchens and bathrooms, outdoor kitchens, terraces, thread and multigenerative living spaces.

ASID will combine customers from all over San Diego County with the ideal specialist based on their individual needs and their individual location.

“Professional design instructions are not an extravagance,” said Feldman. “Designers can help minimize the costs by eliminating costly mistakes and getting the most value for the money they invest in your house.”

Ann and Tom Lavoy, former Fichte -up customers, said: “The ASID -Spruce program was a stroke of luck. It showed us how easy it is to work with a designer. In our case, Tanya Snyder was from Kismet Interiors.”
