Boise, Idaho (CBS2) – Boise Parks and Recreation warns the visitors to the Esther Simplot Park Pond to keep out of the water.
The water quality tests show that E. coli bacterial levels have exceeded state standards, which caused the warning. The swimming ponds in the Esther Simplot Park and in Quinn's pond are tested weekly in summer to monitor the bacterial levels.
Boise Parks and Rec say that Quinn's pond and certain areas around Teich 1, including the area of children's beach, have not exceeded state borders, and warning signs are also published in the region to raise publicity.
Teams work to improve water quality as well as parks and REC. Suppose you will remove the warning signs as soon as the test results show that the bacterial concentrations correspond to the state standards.
