Green track 18MW wind turbine generator design validation

Time for the ACT SPS (AQSE: TTA), a group led by engineering that focuses on technology for the supply chain of the energy transition Ndfeb (rare earth) magnets.

Highlights:

· Massive reduction of 5.95% modeled in stelized energy costs (LCOE), whereby a total of 6-7% is extremely feasible

· Weight savings of 24% against Benchmark achieved

· Cliric architecture that offer another cost savings potential for water/glycol systems

· Suitable for manufacturing in industry in the field of production

· Technology now at Virtual TRL 7

The validation report (Erzkatapult – “Design study by Greenspur Axial Flux permanent magnetic generator”, May 2025) confirms that the green track is “No longer an ambitious concept, but an almost commercial reality” which “Will be a groundbreaking, inexpensive solution for the rapidly growing offshore wind industry”.

Greenspur is actively involved in turbines -Oems and developers, whereby the complete Erzkatapult report for selected industrial and trading partners is being made available for the next generation of offshore wind turbines.

The report focused on high speed (1150 rpm) and mid-speed/hybrid drive (600 rpm) configured configurations of the green track design. The green track 18MW design was specially divided against a radial river generator, which was used in a first-class turbine system and data from a leading turbine model of a leading OEM were provided.

The most important results include:

· Performance efficiency: The inclusion of the green track 1150 rpm generator provides an extraordinary reduction of 5.95% in the leveling costs (LCOE) compared to the benchmark design. This reduction was pushed forward by the use of the inherent efficiency of the axial river flusser and takes place before the expected minor repair/preventive maintenance efficiency and savings from the simpler cooling system from green track -so that the management comes to the conclusion that a total of 6-7% LCOE savings is aware.

· Weight advantage: The green track generator was as being 24% lighter As the Benchmark Radial Flux Generator, a great advantage in the offshore wind industry.

· Heat simplicity: The air-cooled architecture of the design eliminates the need for water/glycol cooling systems, which are usually used in high-speed radial flow generators. This represents a significant reduction in system complexity and offers improved operating and maintenance properties.

· Technologating ripening: The generator has achieved a virtual Technology Level 7 (“TRL 7”). The report says that “It will Be reasonable to say that the technology [has] Advanced into the early TRL 7 level, underpinned by the earlier prototype in 250 kW scale. “.

· Scalability and manufacturability: The modular nature of the axial river design of green track means that the technology is scalable to ever larger and larger sizes without the restrictions and often influences the radial flux designs. The report fully supports the statement that the generator is suitable for the production of industrial measures.

Management is of the opinion that the magnetic-tag design of green track in combination with its simplified structure and its passive thermal design offers material advantages, since OEMS and developer are looking for drive-through-through solutions that are compatible with the next generation of large offshore turbines. The generator design checked by Ore Catapult was configured with NDFEB magnets (rare earth). Greenspur previously validated Ferrit-based generators (in direct drive configuration) and supported the platform Magnet-tagnostic And Agnostic flexibility of the drive train. Management is of the opinion that this adaptability is of crucial importance in order to meet a wide range of customer requirements-from an inexpensive, material configurations and high-performance offshore systems.

Jason Moody, Chief Operating Officer from Time to Act PLC, commented:

“The validation of the ore catapult supports what we have believed for a long time, namely that axial river technology that has been successfully developed, which has been successfully developed, is a transformation platform for the next generation offshore wind. TRL-7 generator-generator architecture, which is easier reduction and reducing the Greens.

Chong Ng, Associate Director – Applied Research at Ore Catapult, commented:

“These results are an important step forward for the generator technology of green track. The 18 mw design has shown a strong technical and commercial potential and offers a clear opportunity to reduce costs and simplify operations. Our work with green track continues to show how the innovation in the UK innovation can continue to provide the way. Change global validability.

Chris Heminway, Executive Chairman of Time to Act PLC, commented:

“In the Wind Power World, in which the prospect of 1-2% LCOE reduction is remarkable, Greenspur can now refer to an independent validation from the British flagship innovation and research center for offshore wind in order to claim an extraordinary 6-7% LCOE reduction if they are actual OEM turbine design was set up.

About time to act PLC

Time to Act PLC is a group guided by technology that focuses on technology for the supply chain of the energy transfer. It currently has two main business transactions: diffusion alloys and green track. As a parent company of the group, Time to Act offers strategic and operational support to operational companies and capital to enable their growth.

About diffusion alloys

Diffusion alloys provide diffusion coatings. A diffusion coating is an intermetallic layer that protects metal components from breakdown at high temperatures and in highly corrosive environments, such as the production of hydrogen and nuclear energy.

The Catalyst Technologies business of Johnson Matthey PLC has teamed up with a significant pipeline of blue hydrogen projects to scale production and the increasing demand for carbon hydrogen to reduce global carbal carbon emissions.

In addition to working for numerous historical and existing customers, the directors believe that diffusion alloys are the only credible diffusion decision of the world for blue hydrogen components that have already been coated in volume for a leading European provider in the green hydrogen area.

Diffusion alloys have two different focus areas:

· Coating technology: You know the sale of technical excellence in the coating.

.

· Coating services: The business with plant coatings focuses on the location in Middlesbrough.

About green track

Greenspur is a creator and generator designer for intellectual property that has solved problems that prevent the use of axial river architecture on a scale and at the same time develop a credible solution for applications for renewable energies for the problem of rare earth magnet problems.

Magnets that are constructed with rare elements (rees) are fundamental components in electrical generators and electric vehicle engines that are of crucial importance for the provision of the transition of clean energy. However, there are considerable restrictions and risks of the supply chain when procuring Rees, which are required for these magnets.

The Magnet-Agnostic generator design of green track can rarely remove the need for magnet and copper coils without a loss of the electrical performance.
