Focusing on innovative materials, low inissions drive and customer-specific design marks the introduction of a new player on the Superyacht Tender market …
Tenders aligned, a new brand of Williams Marine Group and the sister Williams Jet TendersHas launched its first selection of superyacht tenders: the Origin series. The installation includes the 5.7-meter origin 57 and the 71-meter origin 71, two models with a focus on efficiency, sustainable materials and thoughtful design.
The origin 57 and 71 are aimed at yachts over 30 or 40 meters and are based on a patented PETESTEPĀ® hull. This fuselage reduces hydrodynamic resistance to deliver a smoother, quieter drive.
One of the more remarkable functions is to use Cork Decking, which was developed in cooperation with Amorim Cork Solutions. Navicork FD01 comes from regenerative forests and is light, non-slip, isolated and offers verified negative CO2 footprint.
Both tenders are driven by Yanmar 4LV diesel engines that have been approved for use with HVO 100 fuel -a renewable option that can reduce the Net CO2 Emissions by up to 97 percent compared to standard diesel. Other characteristics include removable eco-upholstery, raymarine navigation displays, LED lighting and accessories for practical use cases such as the transport of bicycles.
The models are ordered and fully customizable. The origin 57 seating spaces up to nine guests and the 71 accommodation of up to 13th owner can specify logos, surfaces and colors for a tailor -made result.
The device was founded by the brothers Mathew and John Hornsby, the team behind Williams Jet Tenders. With more than two decades of experience and a background in the production of Hochvolumia, the company's new company aims to think more sustainable on the tender market.
Since superyacht owners try to reduce emissions and use environmentally conscious technologies, the Origin series offers a functional step in this direction, especially in areas such as alternative decking and fuel systems with a lower absorption.
The topic of alternative cover materials and sustainability trends on board is treated in the upcoming issue 225 by The Superyacht Report – Captains FocusPublication early next month.
