Mill Pond Walkway explained the Community project

A project in Bloomfield to install a path around Mill Pond was declared the interest of the community interest.

The explanation was given on Tuesday after a deputation by Sarah Soettens and Barry Turpin.

By explaining the project as of community interest, tax revenue for donations for the project can be issued.

The current plans require a new hiking trail, which can be installed in the area with seating and educational signs in order to highlight the characteristics of the surrounding wetland for the residents of the park.

During the same session, the council issued an application for an agreement with fifth conservation to enable the installation of a part of the path on the Henry Leavens conservation area.
