Five secret gardens in Dorset will soon open their goals so that visitors can enjoy the flora and fauna of the spring and summer season.
The National Garden Scheme offers unique access to more than 3,500 private gardens in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Canal Islands and collects money for care and health organizations.
This year, visitors can enjoy these five gardens in Dorset with venues.
Around £ 74 million were collected for the support of MacMillan Cancer, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and Queen's Nursing Institute. Last year, £ 3.5 million were donated thanks to the generosity of the garden owners, volunteers and visitors.
Here are the five secret venues in Dorset Open this spring and summer.
Stafford House, West Stafford

The gardens in the Stafford House include a river Walk and a tree that is planted in the style of the early C19 painting paint.
Humphry Repton prepared landscape proposals for the garden and the designs were later implemented, they were also included in his famous red books.
For this private morning opening, a limited number of tickets was made available by Lord and Lady Fellowes.

Stadtgarten near the sea. Long garden on several levels. Steps and narrow, sloping paths lead to beds and boundaries filled with trees, bushes and herbal plants, many unusual varieties. A beautiful village garden, which plays in the glorious landscape in Dorset with astonishing view of the gentle hills and the historic St. Catherine chapel.

Karmacations, Bookham Lane, Buckland Newton

'Magical' summarizes karmacations, a brand new Japanese oasis that is hidden in the wonderful landscape of West Dorset. Our resting garden is full of surprises, stories, landscapes and sculptures with royal connections. Highlights such as a breathtaking metal bridge, charming tea house, the happy Torii goal, gilded jumping stones, the island of Buddha and the old meadow.

About ½ morning remote, peaceful garden consisting of several rooms that are inspired by various topics. Inspiration comes from the Mediterranean and Italian gardens, forest areas, water gardens.
The seats are scattered everywhere so that they can enjoy the different rooms and use both sun and shadows. Parking within a 10 -minute walk or parks in the village.
