– – Summer production manager – Responsible for all technical aspects of services, workshops and commitment events. Includes the supervision of the employees, the direct work with artists, staging work (heavy lifting and climbing ladders) and some lighting designs. This is a seasonal hybrid position. Part -time, long -distance work begins in April (28 hours/week); And full-time-on-site work (on the farm on Martha's Vineyard) runs until August 9th to August 9th. Salary content between April and August 9th. The apartment is offered for a small fee.
– – Production assistant – Support with technology for services, workshops and commitment events, include severe lifting and climbing, ladders, staging as well as some audio and lighting work. Hourly position $ 21/hour; Full-time hours 15th Juni-August. 9. Accommodation is offered for a small fee.
– – Summer company manager – Employees of the artists' services who serve as the main connection to artists and offers logistical and administrative support in the area of transport, hospitality, housing construction, health and security, residence plans and other needs of guests. They work with the garden employees to ensure the smooth implementation of artist residences, public services, educational programs and other events. This is a seasonal hybrid position. Technical director of the theater at the School of the Arts, University of Nebraska, Omaha
The responsibilities for this position include the management of budgets for landscape/painting/props with the faculty, the elaboration of all picturesque construction drawings for the main days, training and monitoring students in the scene business, the management of workflows through the shop and maintaining materials and maintenance of tools. The technical director is commissioned with the supervision and general maintenance of all theater rooms, including the Weber Fine Arts Blackbox Theater (005). The qualifications for this position include a BA in the theater; Knowledge of computer -aided elaboration and at least two years of experience in a professional or academic theater environment as a technical director or a similar position. Video/projection crew chief, the Metropolitan Opera
The Metropolitan Opera is looking for an experienced technician with video/projection systems with experience on a large scale live -theatrical and/or broadcast presentation environments. The department for electrical video/projection systems integrated, maintenance and operational/runs crew for all opera repertoire and special event video-/projection as well as internal support for meetings and presentations. This position is represented by local IATE as part of a collective agreement.
Main tasks
- As a member of the electricity department, you direct video/projection processes by planning work orders, monitoring daily operation and submitting wage and salary billing.
- Make MET Opera Production Video Network and Device Event in operation.
- Support chef electriker in the preparation of operating and capital budgets as well as financing inquiries for maintaining the appropriate device intervention for all planned presentations/uses.
- Interfaces with the production department and internal/guest design teams to develop requirements for new production video offices, devices and infrastructure.
- Expertise on the programming and operation of disguise video platforms and operation.
- Stand about the development of technology, trends and best practices in the entertainment video.
- Maintaining production data storage on MET servers in cooperation with IS Team.
- Work with external providers and consultants to coordinate seasonal rentals and new device purchases.
- Act as assigned as a programmer/operator for productions.
