New York Mills-Das New York Mills Regional Cultural Center announced its new gallery exhibition “Adventures in Art”, an interactive installation with nature-related projects and “Kids Create”, a show of student art in the basic age that is exhibited until February. 21.
People are encouraged to bring their children, grandchildren or their “inner child” to the non -profit organization in order to enjoy a unique interactive art experience for children of all ages, together with their parents to teach, entertain and expand the imagination .
“You can” fish “, find butterflies, identify leaves, find out who or what tracks made and enjoy many outdoor art projects,” says a press release. “Art projects are managed for parents and their children themselves.”
There are five stations for self-guided activities, including leaf texture rubbings. A “fish pond” for catching, identifying and drawing fish; make a butterfly; Creating a hanging paper bird and making animal tracks.
There are worksheets that record the animals and objects that identify visitors and find a scavenger hunt for animals and plants. Visitors can also take a break in the tent for the feeling “Out in the Woods”.
“Kids Create” is an annual exhibition of the talent of students in primary school age in the New York Mills region. The gallery exhibition can be found in 24 N. Main Ave. Groups applied for or calling experience in advance.
This activity is partly enabled by the voters of Minnesota by grants from the Lake region Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board thanks to a legislative appropriation from the fund for art and cultural and cultural culture.
