While I can spend hours dreaming of dreaming from Summer Garden Party Decor, I am always worried to forget something when the event is finally going around.
But a summer meeting in a summer meeting is much more than the food or the decor. There are many other components that come together to make it a success, including the company, the atmosphere and of course a stress -free host. But to ensure that this is always the case, I asked the experts to weigh the greatest summer hosting errors -and how to avoid them so that they are always one step ahead.

In any case, I have to hold back when it comes to building a summer barbecue menu or trying out elaborate summer salads-and when it comes to warm Weather hosting, simplicity is the key.
“You can keep complicated recipes with high care in the kitchen instead of enjoying the party,” says Ryan Abney, founder of the RA event design. “Instead, lean into seasonal ingredients with simple, aromatic dishes that can be built: Think of marinated grilled vegetables, cooled pasta salads or desserts for fruit that serve as a decor.”
2 .. Leave food for too long

Summer weather always feels like a treat until I lay forward or desserts in the wobbling heat.
“If something has to be cooked at the last minute or does not hold well in the heat, it only manages to stress,” says Forrest Webber, owner of the Trade Table. “I usually have the greatest success with grilled objects that can be made in batches, cold sides and drinks that the guests can operate themselves.”
It is also worth planning if you operate frozen desserts – especially if you organize a lot. »Serve the ice last and never let yourself be merged again, Andia advises. “The texture and taste ruins.”
3. Out of ice

No matter how many spectacular summer cocktails you open when it comes to hosting on a hot day. So you can make sure you have enough.
“In the summer heat, the guests are constantly using drinks,” says Cathy O'Connell, co -founder of Coj Events. “Make sure you appreciate wine, beer and mixers in front of chilling and at least £ 1 per person.”
“I always have more than you think you need,” added Andrew Shortell, CEO from Tableware Miet Business Hestia Harlow. “And don't forget a beautiful water station with citrus slices or herbs; it's just as much about function as flair. '
4 .. Do not use your outer space effectively

My evening evening party usually includes a spacious table, but when the space is limited, it can be difficult to optimize your garden setup.
“Make it easy for people to move,” advises Laetitia Laurent, director of Laure Nell Interiors. “I like to set up snacks by the pool, a self -service near the kitchen or grill outdoors and soft seats. It stops the guests from mixing themselves in one area. '
The key is a functional layout that generates the river. “Use carpets outdoors to define meeting rooms,” suggests Ryan. “At the table, I would recommend to maintain your decor low and easy to promote conversations – and create space for the guests to share the sharing of dishes.”
5. The timing misunderstood

As soon as my food preparation is carried out and my table landscape is completed, I always endeavor to welcome my guests -but it can be an important summer hosting error.
“The midday sun may sound good theoretically, but the hosting in the hottest hours can overheat the guests,” says Ryan. “Think about starting your meeting in the late afternoon or early evening when the temperatures start to sink.”
Setting up table tones and cooler areas for sitting is essential. “Prioritize the shadow with umbrellas, tents or even by hanging out fabric for an airy, resort -like canopy,” suggests Ryan.
6. Forget the mood lighting

If you choose an evening affair, there is a crucial detail: Idea ideas outdoors outdoors.
“It is astonishing how many people put energy in the table and forget what it looks like after the sun goes down,” says Laetitia. Think of your table lighting outdoors as well as the safety of different areas and lighting routes for safety reasons and a subtle light. I always have the lighting with lanterns, string lights and a few candles to keep the mood in the evening. '

It is easy to forget seating when you organize an informal meeting in the buffet in the style of a buffet, but you want to make sure every guest is comfortable.
“Offer a mixture of seating,” advises Ryan. “I like pillows in lounge style or light chairs that the guests can move when they mix.”
“You don't need a chair for everyone, but there should be places too perch,” confirms Laetitia. 'I mix benches, poufs and even oversized pillows. It feels casual, but intends. '
8. Use with impractical tableware

Although I would like to show my favorite services at every summer soiree, the Safe tableware outdoors is always best to save your best pieces before breakages.
“If you rely on easy or fragile skills, this can lead to problems,” says Cathy. 'Glass can easily break on terraces or lawns, and windy days can turn paper plates. I would recommend investing in chic melamine or email plates, robust drinks and weighted bed linen or clips to keep everything on your table. '
If you don't have enough to walk around, there are many chic sustainable table options that can do justice for a crowd.
Must-Haves for every spectacular summer host
While the drinks can make or break a summer meeting, this beautiful ice bucket will attract the attention of your guests. I think it's great that you can also adapt the handle and the top top.
It is always awakened with Serbian fabric and I am obsessed with the contrast cladding of this parasol (not to mention the 10 different color options).
Bolé Road striped floor pillow
This colorful pillow is certainly useful for additional seating at your next outdoor party – although it is also perfect for the interior benefit.
