According to the report, searches for contrast trim, cabinet painting, door murals, hand-painted furniture and hand-painted wall patterns have increased over the past year.

The motto “More is more” will become particularly true in 2025. Searches for fabric wall decor are up 135 percent, according to Pinterest, while searches for eclectic homes are up 630 percent and eclectic boho bedrooms are up 65 percent. Additionally, searches for eclectic maximalism and vintage maximalism increased by 215 and 260 percent, respectively. People are eager to incorporate eye-catching patterns, eclectic prints and textures into their homes next year.
Castlecore
Medieval style is finding its way into homes as more and more people are inspired by bygone eras. According to Pinterest, searches for castle house plans are up 45 percent, indicating increased interest in the flair the style adds to the homes. Some decorating ideas include arches, chunky furniture, copper pots, dark wood floors, heavy fabrics and fireplaces.
Cherry encoded
The unexpected red theory will take on a new form in 2025 as Pinterest predicts cherry motifs will dominate in the coming year. The platform says searches for cherry bedrooms have increased 100 percent this year and will continue to increase in 2025. If you don't want to take the trend so literally, opt for cherry-colored colors, furniture, and decor instead.
surrealism
According to the report, homeowners will incorporate surrealist touches into their homes in 2025 as searches for modern surrealism have increased by 70 percent. To participate in this trend, you should think about incorporating unusual shapes, bright and bold colors and textures into your home to create a dreamy environment. From tablescapes to decorations, this is a trend you can join in or pick up for a fun change anywhere in your home.
Rococo revival
According to Pinterest, home aesthetics in 2025 will draw inspiration from Rococo, an art movement that began in the early 18th century and lasted until 1770. This ornamental style, also called late Baroque, was full of lavish feminine energy. Homeowners are embracing this trend by implementing luxurious table settings, pastel and soft colors, foliage, gold and brass details, and delicate yet elegant finishes.
