Save art boards individually in Illustrator

If you are working on a document that has several art boards, and you need to create single documents from each one of them , here’s what you’ll have to do.
Save as Illustrator documents
Go to File > Save as
Pick a name for your file, a destination folder and press the save button.
It’s in this next dialog box, Illustrator Options, that you’ll choose to save your document in separated files

Check ” Save each artboard to a separate file ” and you’ll get the option to save all art boards or a range of art boards.
Press OK and you’re done.
Save as EPS documents
In the Save as dialog box choose to save as an EPS, from the drop down menu at the bottom.

The option to save as separated files will be underneath the drop down menu. Check “Use Artbords ” and you’ll get to choose between saving all art boards or a range of art boards.
Press Save button, choose the desired options for your EPS files and finally press OK.
Save as JPEG documents
Go to File > Export
Choose to save as an JPEG, from the drop down menu at the bottom.

The option to save as separated files will be underneath the drop down menu. Check “Use Artbords “ and you’ll get to choose between saving all art boards or a range of art boards.
Press Save button, choose the desired options for your JPEG files and press OK.
Be aware that the files will be saved only with what it is within the art board, everything on the outside of the border will be discarded.
