Align your guides in Photoshop

If you can’t get your guides exactly where you want in Photoshop, try the following trick. Hold the Shift button while dragging the guide, it will automatically snap to the nearest line on the ruler.

Change measurement units

A quick way to change the measurement units in an Illustrator or Photoshop document is by right clicking (on pc) or ctrl+click (on mac) on a ruler (ctrl+r / cmd+r) and then choose a different unit .

STEP 1: Create a new document with a slightly larger dimensions than the normal ones. I used a 500 x 500px. Using a Rectangular Shape tool, create a square as shown below. It can be of any color. I used a chocolate brown color.
